Please join us for the 10th Annual Run Forest Run 5K being sponsored by the Forest Elementary PTA! We are excited to announce that we are planning to host our race on Saturday April 20, 2024. There will also be a virtual option available for those who are interested. This year the proceeds will be donated to Brian Moorman's P.U.N.T. Pediatric Cancer Collaborative.
START/FINISH
The race will start and finish at Forest Elementary School using USATF certified Course NY17001JJ. Please note that the parking lot where the finish line is located was recently expanded and the entrance to the finish line will be slightly different. Race organizers will mark the course with red directional arrows to guide you!
If you choose to run as a virtual participant you get to choose where and when to run or walk your 5K during the month of April. Keep track of your time (optional) and upload it to the results page or better yet, download the FREE IYR Virtual app to your Smartphone or Android that will track your route and keep track of your time for you!

REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP
Online registration ((credit card) will remain open right up until the start of the race at 10am. On race morning we will also offer paper applications for those wishing to pay with cash or check. Run Forest Run T-shirts will be guaranteed to all participants who register by April 11, 2024. A small quantity of extra shirts ordered and distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis until they are gone. Packet pickup will take place inside Forest Elementary School from 8:30am right up until the start of the race at 10am. Arrive early to allow enough time to check in (or register) and get to the start line on time.

5K RUN AGE GROUPS & AWARDS
Trophies will be presented to the 1st place overall male and female 5K finishers. Age group winners will also be announced and presented with medals. All runners can print custom certificates and view finish line photos from the results page after the race.
7 and under, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, 14-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and older.

CANCELLATION POLICY
There will be no refunds. In the event of foul weather, public safety concerns, or for any other reason deemed necessary by race organizers (ex: state of emergency, pandemic guidelines, etc), we reserve the right to postpone/reschedule the event at our discretion or offer a virtual alternative if necessary.
TIMING & FINISH LINE SERVICES
Timing and finish line services using industry leading Jaguar Electronic RFID timing will be provided by Race Management Solutions. Results are updated throughout the race in real time and can be accessed at any time after crossing the finish line using any one of the following options:
