The Koinonia Foundation presents the Inaugural Pace for Grace 5K Race.
With all proceeds benefiting the Koinonia Foundation, this family friendly event is a great way to support the community. Since 1990, the Koinonia Foundation has been caring for neighbors in crisis in the Wake Forest, Rolesville, and Youngsville communities. Koinonia offers financial support through one-time emergency benevolent assistance to individuals and families along with annual grants to local nonprofits that work to address human needs not otherwise adequately addressed. Now more than ever, our neighbors are depending on the assistance provided by Koinonia.
We want our runners to take pride in caring for their neighbors but also be safe given the current climate. That's why we're asking you to join us virtually this year.
There is a flat fee of $30 to register and an option to purchase a commemorative race t-shirt for $20. All runners will have access to the 'IYR Virtual' mobile app. The app will track your run/walk and display your route on a map along with time, distance and pace. The app will notify you when you have completed your 3.1 miles and prompt you to upload your time into our online results page. You can print a finisher's certificate and even add a selfie that will appear with your results!
